– Payroll – Conduct monthly payroll calculation on Sicorax
-Recruitment: Instruct candidates in general terms about -job application and
requirements process as per the request of the management team, Screen phone
calls and manage calendars, Assist in scheduling interviews and the interview
process.
-Assist in HR paperwork and coordination. – Ensure that up-to-date information is
on file for Company employees, attend employee queries concerning salary/HR
related issue.
– Attend meetings with the HR Manager – draft reports and agendas for the followup.
-Ensure that all job descriptions are up to date and signed – Assist the HR Manger to
prepare the employee handbook, escalate important questions, personal employee
affairs to the Head of HR in a discreet manner, assist the management in
investigating any form of work-related illnesses, injuries, and accidents.
-Expatriate: Follow up expatriate employee file, assist expatriate employee for the
application process of occupation permit at the EDB.
-Ensure that the employees adhere to the Company’s rules, regulations, labour
laws, procedures and legal standards and in-house policies, enforce the company’s
rules & regulations and discipline in general among the employees, responsible for
escalating compliance infraction issues to managers and provide adequate
communication to managers.
-Work in close collaboration with the Strategy & Operations Manager to ensure
that managers are well trained and equipped with all the policies and procedures
associated with any situation. Most importantly, staff should be well acquainted
with their responsibilities as well as behaviour, ensuring that there is a smooth and
effective system of communication between every member of the organization
workforce across all departments and levels of management, support the
management on disciplinary and grievance issues.
Recruitment and Selection: Screening of potential candidates,
selection of candidates, prepare paperwork for new recruits
– Induction: Make new employees familiar with the working
environment.
-Time and Attendance: Leaves processing, keep attendance of
employees updated, overtime processing, prepare adjustment sheets
-Manual salary calculation when required.
– Involved in project management.
– Absence Reports: Prepare report of absentees using VLOOKUP,
prepare percentage absenteeism table for managers and HODs
– KPI Reports: SQPDC/ Scorecard
-Absence Interview : Conduct interview with absentees (Mauritians
and expatriates), prepare and issue warning to high absentees
– Expatriate Management: Conduct surveys with expatriates, help in
improving living conditions and work conditions of expatriates, assist
expatriates in daily problems encountered/ queries…
